How it works
- Pick a fuel: Octane 90, Octane 95 or Diesel at this month's official Jordan price, or type your own price in any currency. You can switch to miles or gallons and show consumption as km/L or mpg.
- My car's consumption: enter the distance since your last full tank, then what you paid or the litres. Litres = amount ÷ price; economy = distance ÷ litres (km/L) or litres ÷ distance × 100 (L/100 km); cost per km = amount ÷ distance.
- Trip cost: enter the distance (one way or round trip), the consumption and the number of passengers to get the fuel needed, the total cost and each passenger's share.
- What does my money buy: enter an amount or a fuel quantity with the consumption to see the litres and how far you can drive.
- Save your vehicles and log each fill-up to see your average consumption and a trend chart. Everything is stored in your browser only.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the Jordan fuel prices come from?
From the monthly decision of Jordan's fuel pricing committee, announced at the end of each month for the next one, and updated here monthly. The effective month is shown next to the price, and you can always type a different price.
How do I measure my car's consumption accurately?
Fill up until the nozzle clicks off, reset the trip meter, fill the same way next time and enter the distance and litres. The average of several fill-ups in the log is more accurate than a single reading.
What is the difference between km/L and L/100 km?
km/L is how many kilometres one litre takes you (higher is better); L/100 km is how many litres you need for 100 km (lower is better). They relate as L/100 km = 100 ÷ km/L.
Is my data sent to your server?
No. Calculations, vehicles and the fill-up log stay in your browser. The only server request fetches the public official price table.
