Mind Maps & Flowcharts

Organise your ideas as a mind map, flowchart or org chart, then export it as an image or save a JSON file to continue later.

The map runs only in your browser and is autosaved on this device every 5 seconds.

How to make a mind map

Great for studying, brainstorming and org charts.

  1. Start from "Main idea": select it and press "Edit" to change its label, colour and shape.
  2. Press "Add node" for each sub-idea, then "Connect" and drag from one node to another to link them.
  3. Switch "Map layout" to a hierarchy for a tidy org chart or flowchart, and drag nodes to arrange them.
  4. Export the map as a PNG or SVG image, or save a JSON file to import later and keep editing.

Frequently asked questions

Are my maps uploaded to a server?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser, and autosave uses your device's local storage only.

How do I recover a map I closed by mistake?

The map is saved every 5 seconds; when you reopen the page, press "Restore" in the message above the tool.

Can I move a map to another device?

Yes — press "Save JSON", open the page on the other device and use "Import JSON".

What is the difference between organic and hierarchy layouts?

Organic arranges nodes automatically like a mind map, while hierarchy places them in levels, top-down or left-right, like org charts and flowcharts.
